Job Posting: Business Solutions Engineer
IntelliResponse is seeking a Business Solutions Engineer to be a member of the Client Services team.
With a strong blend of technical and business skills, the Business Solutions Engineer uses a consultative approach to understand business and technical requirements to develop technical and support strategies.
Desired Skills
- Intricate working knowledge with all of the following: Java, JSP, Web Services, Web Service Security, Adobe Flex, SSL, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat
- Some experience with all or most of the following: HTML CSS, JavaScript
- Familiar with relational databases and SQL
- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience in developing and refining support processes
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills

Expectations
Sales Support
- Deliverer all technical, service and product related sales demonstrations, presentations, proposals and onsite meetings/workshops
- Design and deploy all demonstrative technical support “infrastructure” required to scale the business (demo sites, multi-channel, partner integrations, technical material, RFP boilerplates, populating CRM with technical material, etc.)
- Lead detailed, technical due diligence efforts
- Be the sole interface to the Services Delivery team
- Be a primary conduit to Product Management for future product needs and assist business analysts to define business needs based on experiences and feedback from engagements
- Works with all groups to architect “non standard” technical and service solutions
Partner and Service Support
- Develop and manage a partner support strategy that includes the maintenance of demo and development partner servers, creation of test integrations, writing documentation and other information related to our technology partners/multi-channel integrations, as well as developing a centralized location that provides access to these resources
- Develop and provide support for multi-channel front ends for the IntelliResponse application (for example agent consoles, social media platforms and mobile devices)
- Ensure that self-hosted partners are running the most current version of our software, and plan and implement partner release cycles
- Develop and maintain client and partner-facing documentation on usage of IntelliResponse Web Services
- Ensure that all 3rd party partner solutions can be demonstrated in an integrated mode
- Engage, interact and support partners and occasionally clients on IntelliResponse technologies
- Brainstorm and implement improvements to IntelliResponse integration methods and processes

- Independence from Development Team resources for technical consultation/troubleshooting
- Partner and VP of Sales and Partner Alliance feedback, occasional client feedback
- Reliability of centralized location for providing up-to-date partner/multi-channel integration information and access

Staffing
The Business Solutions Engineer will report to the Client Delivery and Client Support team leaders as well as the VP of Sales & Alliances (in a matrix-style organization). He/she will also interface with Project Managers and Web Integration Specialists within Client Services, members of the Development team (as applicable, for additional support), members of the Product team (to contribute ideas) and individual Sales Account Executives.
Remuneration
Base salary + bonus and/or commission based on sales performance.
