President, CEO and Director Michael Dufton is the Chief Executive Officer of IntelliResponse. As CEO, Mike will establish IntelliResponse's strategy and leadership in the web-self-serve software solution space.
Mike has 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with the majority of that time focused on the financial services industry. Mike spent much of his career at SOLCORP, a leading software provider to the global life insurance marketplace. Rising through the ranks at SOLCORP to become CEO, he helped to grow the company from a $5 million organization focused primarily on the Canadian marketplace to a global solutions provider with revenues in excess of $100 million.
Mike is very active in the Canadian Technology community and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Acetech, a not for profit organization that is dedicated to the growth and health of technology companies by providing knowledge and mentoring to the leaders and CEOs of those companies. Mike is also an active member of Young President’s Organization (YPO).
Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
CTO As the CTO of IntelliResponse, David is accountable for guiding the overall development and delivery of the IntelliResponse solution as a fully hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) model. His responsibilities also include production/operations as well as traditional internal technology delivery.
Prior to joining IntelliResponse, David was CTO/CIO with Dexit Inc., he had multiple accountabilities that included all technology, software and hardware development, production and operations, project management and product development. David played a key role within the executive team of this publicly traded company in developing and transforming the business and technology strategy.
Previously as Senior Director, Technology Services within Carlson Marketing Group (CMG) in the US, David was responsible for overall strategy for the services and assets that enable their many client gift card, loyalty and channel solutions. His accountabilities included the architecture group, solution engineering, service and product management and selected technology acquisitions. The work moving CMG towards the implementation of a Service Oriented Architecture lead to their Bold 100 award from CIO magazine in the US in 2005. David joined CMG in 2001, after the acquisition of SalesDriver where he was VP Technology, leading this organizations development and support of their SaaS based solution that supports thousands of client programs in a single configurable white-label data/application model.
Vice President Strategy & Alliances Paul Smith will drive the development of corporate strategy and strategic alliances for IntelliResponse. Before joining IntelliResponse, he was SVP Strategy and Co-founder of Sofea Inc, and prior to this was the founder and principal of Strategic Edge, a consulting firm specializing in helping global technology firms develop unique and compelling sales, marketing, product and alliance strategies. While at Strategic Edge, Mr. Smith worked with a number of the world's most successful software, consulting and technology firms, including Siebel Systems, PeopleSoft, Ernst & Young, IBM/LGS Consulting, Deloitte Consulting, and SOLCORP (an EDS company).
Prior to founding Strategic Edge, he held executive level positions at PeopleSoft, most recently as Vice-President Sales. As Vice-President Sales at PeopleSoft, Mr. Smith helped PeopleSoft grow ten-fold to be the fastest growing software firm in America for three years in a row. Mr. Smith also served as National Director of Alliances for PeopleSoft, managing all service partnerships, recruiting new service partners, and helping these service firms develop their practices and strategies to work effectively with PeopleSoft.
